2026 Junior Pan Pacific Championships - Vancouver

Shima performed well in both the 50 and 200m Breaststroke events.

She finished 8th in the 200m Breaststroke 2:31.99 and14th in the 50m Breaststroke 34.14.

This competition marked the end of Sima’s career at Hyack.

We wish her all the best and every success for the future.

We would also like to congratulate all the Hyack coaches who have been involved in Shima’s training over the years and helped her to make the Canadian Junior National team and compete at international level – twice at the Junior Pan-Pacific Championships and once at the Junior World Championships.

She will leave behind an incredible legacy of dedication and hard work and will be missed by all at Hyack.
