Congratulations !!!!! Shima Taghavi to attend High Performance Center Ontario
From the Coaching staff at Hyack and all the swimmers and families we want to wish Shima the best of luck at the upcoming Junior Pan Pacific
Championships being held at UBC Aug 17th - 20th.
In her 3rd year on the Canadian Junior National Team Shima will be looking to build upon her 6th place finishes at both the 2024 Junior Pan Pacific and 2025
World Junior Championships in the 200 Breaststroke.....an incredible accomplishment at just 14!!!!
As she moves into her final preparation for the upcoming championships Hyack would also like to congratulate her on her acceptance to the High Performance Center in Ontario for the upcoming 2026/2027 Season.
In her 8 years at Hyack Shima has accomplished a tremendous amount on the Provincial / National and International scene rewriting the record boards along the way.
She will leave behind an incredible legacy of dedication and hard work and will be missed by all at Hyack.
