Hayck Swim Academy Stage 1

6 - 7 years old

Hyack Swim Academy Program : Hayck Swim Academy Stage 1

Hyack Swim Academy Program Stage 1:

Minimum age 5, Max age 7, Maximum participant 6 per lesson

Children in this stage will develop the fundamental skills needed to learn to swim. Pre-requisites: Ages 5 and 7 years old; has passed Swimmer 2 or is comfortable in the water on their own and can kick on their front and back with a kick-board.

*Please, note that:.* If swimmers sign up after the start date, parents must show receipt of payment to the coach upon arriving

Schedule:

Tuesday

4:30 - 5:10 pm

5:10 - 5:50 pm

5:50 - 6:30 pm

Thursday

4:30 - 5:10 pm

5:10 - 5:50 pm

5:50 - 6:30 pm

Hyack Swim Academy programs are only at the City Centre Aquatic Complex (CCAC) in Coquitlam.

We do not accept new registration two weeks after the start date.

Hyack Swim Academy Stage 2

7 - 9 years old

Hyack Swim Academy Program : Hyack Swim Academy Stage 2

Hyack Swim Academy Program Stage 2:

Focuses on learning freestyle and backstroke as well as learning breaststroke and butterfly kick. To enter Stage 2, children must be comfortable swimming freestyle and backstroke in the deep-water alone as the coach does not go in the water. Pre-requisite: Ages 6 – 10 years old; completion of Stage 1 or passed Swimmer 3.

Swimmer age is as of the first day of registration.

If the child is not registered according to the requirements of the stages or ages, will move to another stage or be rejected.

Monday:

4:50 - 5:30 pm

6:10 - 6:50 pm

6:50 - 7:30 pm

We do not cancel our practices for statutory holidays on Mondays unless communicated to you otherwise.

Wednesday:

4:50 - 5:30 pm

6:10 - 6:50 pm

6:50 - 7:30 pm

7 - 9 years old

Hyack Swim Academy Program : Hyack Swim Academy Stage 3

Hyack Swim Academy Program Stage 3:

It focuses on 4 competitive swimming: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. We also work on diving and increasing their endurance as well swimming in the deep end of the pool. The coach does not go in the water. Pre-requisite: Ages 6 – 10 years old; completion of Stage 2 or passed Swimmer 5.

Minimum age 6, Max age 10 > Swimmer age is as of the first day of registration.
